Following closely behind Jumia was MAF Carrefour Online Shopping with 974,000 downloads. The app, which is owned by Majid Al Futtaim, allows customers to order groceries and household items from the comfort of their homes and have them delivered to their doorsteps.
Jiji Kenya, an online marketplace where buyers and sellers can trade new and used goods, was the third most popular shopping app with 729,000 downloads. The app’s popularity can be attributed to its wide variety of products and its easy-to-use platform.
Other popular shopping apps in Kenya included Alibaba B2B with 632,000 downloads, Amazon shopping with 365,000 downloads, AliExpress with 273,000 downloads, and SHEIN with 229,000 downloads.
